INTRODUCTION TO PEDIATRIC ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) focuses on the critical skills required to assess and manage pediatric emergencies, including respiratory distress, shock, and cardiac arrest. These life-threatening conditions require rapid intervention and coordination among healthcare providers.
The goal of PALS is to stabilize the child, identify and address the underlying cause, and improve outcomes by providing evidence-based care tailored to the unique physiological needs of children.
Throughout this course, participants will learn to apply systematic approaches, prioritize interventions, and work effectively in a team to optimize pediatric resuscitation efforts.
